Social Events

The PPJWC offers women living in the Palisades and surrounding area a unique and fun way to make an impact in shaping the future of our community. In addition, we always have several opportunities per month to get to know each other better socially... by hanging out at a member's home for a quaint party, going dancing at a club, splashing with our families at the beach, rolling the Bunco dice at the club house, or bowling at the local lanes. The 2008/2009 Social Committee Chair, Amanda Larson, is always thinking of something new and interesting.

Also, Members meet at the Pacific Palisades Women's Club, 901 Haverford, the first Tuesday evening of every month from September through June. Dinner, often with a seasonal theme, is catered and served at each meeting beginning at 7 p.m. The business begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. Meetings in September, October and November are devoted to finalizing plans for the Home Tour. Beginning with the January meeting, a series of intriguing and relevant guest speakers and programs highlight the gatherings. A favorite event is the Holiday Party. It is a time to toast new Members, celebrate the successful completion of the Home Tour and relax with fellow Juniors before the holidays.
