Provisional Requirements

The PPWC Experience begins with a nine-month orientation program known as the Provisional Year. During this time, new members are introduced to the expectations and workings of the organization. Provisional meetings are held a half hour before monthly General Meetings and are designed to accomplish two goals:
  • Educate new members about the PPWC
  • Promote bonding among Provisional class members

Each Provisional member must fulfill the following requirements:
  • Pay $200 Annual Dues
  • Attend 7 out of 10 Monthly General Meetings
  • Participate on 1 sub-committee
  • Sell 5 tickets to the Home Tour ($40 per ticket)
  • Complete 6 hours of Community Service hours (only 3 hours required for Provisional members 65 yrs and older)
  • Complete 2 full days of service on the Home Tour weekend (only 1/2 day home tour or set up assistance for Provisional members 65 yrs and older)

After successfully completing the Provisional Year, new members move to Active Status in the PPWC.

This year, we will host a new member party on Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 pm. Here you will become better acquainted with who we are and what we're all about.
