Philanthropy/Grants

As philanthropy is the core value of our organization, the PPJWC is dedicated to supporting our community by hosting numerous fundraising events throughout the year. The great majority of our funds are generated through the Holiday Home Tour. In addition, we host an annual men's Texas Hold Em' Poker Tournament and various other exciting events. We are proud to say that over the past several years we continue to break the previous years' fundraising record.

How To Apply For A Grant

The PPJWC welcomes requests for funding from non-profit organizations that provide services and programs, which benefit the Palisades community. Contact us to receive an Application Form.

To request funding, submit the Application Form by December 12, 2008 to:
Pacific Palisades Junior Women's Club
P.O. Box 1224
Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
Attn: Luisa Romoff

How to we decide which organizations will receive funding and what amounts will be awarded?
Every PPJWC member is informed of the applicants, then each member casts her vote regarding which organizations will receive an award and in what increments. Proceeds from the previous year's Holiday Home Tour and Boutique and additional fundraising efforts are awarded annually.

When do grant recipients receive their awards? The first Tuesday in March, chosen grant recipients are awarded with checks from applications received by mid-December of the previous year.
