Treat Her Like a Princess Book Signing - a percentage goes toward the Love Walk!

This book signing on May 15th at 7:30pm at Village Books will be lots of fun and all are welcome. A percentage will go to the Love Walk. The writer, Denise, is our own Helene Dameris' sister-in-law and the reason she started the Love Walk. Refreshments will be served. It is a great way to kick off the Love Walk weekend!



About the book:
An uplifting celebration of life written by a cancer survivor, this sassy and inspirational handbook provides information and guidance for women wanting to support and encourage friends who are battling breast cancer. Featuring practical tips for helping friends maneuver through daily life, such as planning for meals and scheduling child care, this resource also includes ideas for helping a friend cope with the various side effects of treatment. Specific medical information defining the path of a cancer patient as well as a glossary and section of helpful resources are also included.

About the Author:
Denise Hazen is a breast cancer survivor and is active in the Pink Ribbons Project. She was the subject of the CNN documentary Taming the Beast: Inside the War on Cancer. Jennifer Procell is a graphic artist. They both live in Houston, Texas.
